Lufthansa, the largest foreign airline company operating in this region, with a market share of more than 20%, has a 41-year-long history of flights to Belgrade which started in 1967, when the company received a permit for 2 regularly scheduled flights per week from Belgrade to Frankfurt via Budapest and Munich. Today, Lufthansa has 6 direct flights to Germany every day, 2 for Frankfurt, 3 for Munich, and 1 for Düsseldorf, which makes a total of 42 flights per week. Flying from Belgrade to Germany allows the passengers to reach 208 different destinations in 81 countries. |
